Finding more ease with Human Design
Creativity and business isn’t hard. Not when you’re in the right energy space, when everything opens up and just flows. When what was feeling forced just comes naturally.
What is hard is the part where the uncertainty, noise and comparison enters the group chat.
The quiet weeks and days, the times when you feel like the list is longer than the resources you have to work on it.
When you feel the hustle, fall into the grind.
When an unexpected bill comes up or life happens, and you’re managing that alongside your business.
It’s not the same as receiving a regular pay-check. You can turn up, have ‘a less than’ day and not see it hit your bank account.
I have done both, and both have their pros and cons list.
Creating a business is harder, because the uncertainty can be very real. It can also bring you face to face with every doubt, frustration and old pattern that is holding you back.
Creating a business is about more than just business, for some of us, we feel a deep pull within our bones to do something different. To make a change. To make the world or our industry or a system better.
In a way we can’t do if we’re tied into someone else’s business.
Understanding my own energy with tools like Human Design have been huge for me, it’s given me a way to understand how to create, plan and work in my own business.
It’s helped me make sense of the things that my very logical mind and Capricornian tendencies will argue against.
And it’s not about creating a delusion or distraction. It just helps me understand how to grow, move and feel connected to the work I’m doing.
I do wish I’d learned about this, years ago. I’m not sure my younger self would have listened, but I can pinpoint places where the knowledge would have been helpful.
I know now, when my sacral says no what that feels like. Instead of getting so caught up in my head and running in circles, I am getting better at listening to my own body and energy.
This is where the tool of Human Design is a bridge that helps you make changes ~ you can do this, absolutely, without knowing it. It is after all, just a reflection and a map of who you already are. You don’t have to ‘Do or Be More’ ~ it’s just like having a map that helps you know where to go. You can walk the road without it, but it’s handy to have a guide sometimes.
The noise for how we SHOULD be working and doing life is very loud, and tools that help you find a way to navigate out of this so you can live, create and work on your own terms are hugely helpful.
